About our Township

Denver Township is located in the Northwestern area of Newaygo County with a population of approximately 2,000. Denver Township offers residents a suburban-rural mix feel. The Village of Hesperia spans across both Denver and Newfield Townships, and hosts the beautiful White River with great fishing and the ability for many water activities such as kayaking, swimming, canoeing, rafting and tubing. There are three cemeteries within Denver Township: East Hesperia Cemetery, Bull Cemetery, and Huber-Gowell Cemetery.
